Summary

Today, we’re excited to announce a partnership with Gerpho3D, a Photogrammetry scanning company based in Bordeaux, France as a content provider for Puzzling Places.

Together, we will be using some of their fantastic aerial scans of French chateaus, forts and castles, cityscapes, and more to turn them into puzzles for Puzzling Places.

Down the line, as we get closer to the full game’s release, we will be announcing more details about the upcoming puzzles as well as more content partnerships with Photogrammetry companies.

About Gerpho3D

Gerpho3D pioneered the use of large scale photogrammetry to create “3D aerial photos” in 2012, when this was only an emerging technology. Since then, it has sought to obtain the highest visual quality and accuracy, as new applications appeared such as 3D tours for virtual tourism or 3D-presentation of urban and architectural projects within their actual environment.

These 3D photos are now used for a wide range or purposes : tourism, urban planning, architecture, land survey, factory upgrade, corporate communications, heritage preservation, citizen dialogue, crowdsourcing, e-learning and many more.

Puzzling places will be a completely new opportunity for many to discover its most impressive 3D models in a mind-boggling, fully immersive, highly realistic game.

About Puzzling Places

Puzzling Places is a relaxing and wholesome 3D jigsaw puzzle game where players put together hyper-realistic miniatures of beautiful places from around the globe.

With a meditative and calm atmosphere, the game focuses on achievable challenges and a tangible feeling of progression and completion. With every piece puzzled, each “place” slowly comes to life with an immersive and serene soundscape and visuals.

Puzzling Places is a modern take on an age-old pastime that’s fun for the whole family, thanks to its simple rules and easy controls.

Puzzling Places is currently under development and planned to be released for Oculus Quest & Quest 2 this summer as well as on PlayStation VR this winter.
